Hi! A little bit about myself

"In 2012 I discovered FasterEFT and became fascinated with this marvelous technique, watching video after video. I knew I had to go to a Transformational Weekend, and flew to Oklahoma City. I was hooked!"

My story is not typical or ordinary in any way; in fact, it's different from anyone else in my studies at the Skills to Change Institute. I had a fairly usual childhood growing up in Portland, Oregon. I went to Catholic grade school and high school. At age 17, I became a Sister of the Holy Names. As a nun I attended college, gaining a bachelor’s degree and then went on to teach for ten years in grade schools around Washington and Oregon. From there, I became an administrator of after school religion programs for children in public schools.

At age 33, I left the convent after release from Rome and went to work in various commercial businesses.  In 1975, I married Bob, a priest, also released by Rome where I continued to work with children and teens and play folk music in Church. Bob then became an Episcopal priest and we went to Guam as missionaries in 1985. There I taught in the Episcopal School. Bob had two Filipino Churches and started another on Saipan. We enjoyed much travel around the East, including Japan, The Philippines, Hong Kong, and China. While on Guam, I obtained my Masters in Education. In 1989, we landed back in Oregon and Bob had two churches in central Oregon and I worked in an environmental lab. Five years later, Bob was diagnosed with MS and went on disability. No longer able to work in the Church, Bob and I went to southern Oregon and bought a mom and pop convenience store with some friends. I loved working with the late night crowd, but because of some unfortunate management practices by our partners, we had to give up the store and move back to the Portland area where I worked in the office of a mental health clinic. When it closed, I worked at AT&T collections until 2006 when I began work at The Village Retirement Center in the office where I now work two days a week.

I've always searched for self improvement methods, and became a Level 2 Reiki Practitioner. I thought this might be a way of helping Bob. In 2012, I discovered FasterEFT. I was fascinated with this marvelous technique and watched video after video. I just knew I had to go to a Transformational Weekend, so I flew to Oklahoma City in June of 2013 and I was hooked! I attended Level I training in February, 2014, and Level II in February, 2015 and am now a Certified Level II Practitioner. I continue the learning with other practitioners and am working towards my Level III Certification because God is not finished with me yet!

I am so excited to be able to help people with their pains both mental and physical!
